12 months ago, if nothing changed on Linked in, I was going to build an alternative platform.
People laughed.
Well, nothing has changed on there.
Can anyone genuinely say it鈥檚 better?
If anything, it鈥檚 got worse.
The algorithms.
Having to post selfies to get reach.
Watching a debate about sauce on a bacon bap outperform genuinely useful business content.
Really?
But my turning point was far more serious.
The person convicted and jailed for stalking us was early released last week.
They鈥檙e still on LinkedIn, now displaying a LI Premium badge.
That tells me plenty about this platform鈥檚 priorities.
So rather than continue complaining, I did exactly what I said I would.
And that鈥檚 what this Eight Percent Club is about. People who do what they say they鈥檒l do. The other 92% won鈥檛 get in.
12 months of hard work with my team.
Getting it wrong, wrong, wrong until we got it right, right, right.
We鈥檙e here.
If you鈥檝e been looking for a credible alternative, you might just have found it.
